Child, adolescent and adult psychiatry in South Tenerife

I am a medical specialist in Psychiatry, with a particular focus on the care of children, adolescents and adults.

I have completed subspecialty training (Pathway A) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and currently work as a child and adolescent psychiatrist within the Canary Islands Health Service. My training includes placements at leading centres in Spain, Brazil, New Zealand and the United States.

My practice is based on close, rigorous, evidence-based care, recognizing that every person has their own history, context and needs.

My own experience living in different countries and cultures has given me a particular sensitivity to transcultural psychiatry, helping me understand patients and families with migration backgrounds or from different cultural settings.

In addition to seeing patients in Spanish, I hold consultations entirely in English, allowing me to care for international residents and expatriate patients who prefer to communicate in that language.
